Welcome to My Portfolio

I grew up in the contrast of a small inland town and the exotic sounds and colours of my father's Pet shop.

Nowadays I study digital media design at Hyper Island. It's an alternative school that focus on group projects and hands on experience. Before Hyper Island I studied sociology and went for field studies to Bangladesh and Nepal. This was great inspiration. Colour, form and words fascinate me and putting them together in a digital form is great fun! At Hyper Island I've worked hard to develop my skills in design and making ideas come true. I'm hard working and eager to learn.

Terminator Salvation

We did a website for the fictional corporation Skynet Research and a site for the Resistance lead by the famous John Connor. On the Skynet site me and a senior designer did one version each. The client choosed the other guys design which I later used togather with the feedback from the client and made the final version. We did the same thing on the Resistance site but this time it was me and an art director. The client really liked my design and wanted a mashup between our two designs. This felt really great!

Final project

This is a design for a forum which I did during my Final Project at Hyper Island. I wanted to give the forum a serious, fun and relaxing atmosphere.

Financial Collapse

The goal was to visualize an abstract universe with random code that would describe a global financial collapse. The design needed some depth and a hint of that it was computer generated. I worked in both Illustrator and Photoshop. Most of the assets I first created in Illustrator and then imported them to Photoshop. Here I did the final composition and the most important thing here was to give the different elements shadows and lightning. One of my semi goals with this project was to give the piece as much details as possible.

The Loop - Experiment

This was a project I worked on during my time at Domani Studios. The Loop is the company's external blog and it has a function that randomizes a new background everytime you reload the site. This was a good opportunity to experiment with my skills. I generated different assets in After Effects, draw other ones in Illustrator and I put the final composition together in Photoshop. Proteccion es la Jugada

This was the first big project during my time at Domani Studios. It's a microsite for Allstate Insurance featuring the mexican national team keeper Guillermo "Memo" Ochoa. I worked on the transitions between the different sections. I edited the commercial on the first page, animated rollover states and designed fotballs for the create your fotball section.

Affärsvärlden commercial

Affärsvärlden wanted a commercial that should get visitors to there new website. This was the first commercial I've done and I hope to work more in projects like this in the future. My role was as a designer, animator and concept developer. My idea behind this was to create something beautiful and different. I wanted to create an alternative space where a stock index curve would lead the viewer through clouds of economic news. I created the whole piece in After Effects with a sketch as a guideline.
